Best for surviving solo Qs?

Im thinking of rolling a new 39, but I cant decide on a class. Im planning on mostly just Qing solo. My goal is to focus on pure survivability, mostly through kiting and maybe some heals. If my only goal is to survive, which would be better, priest, sham, or druid?

you could roll a disc priest for some rediculous survivability and utility. You also would be the most hated person in a BG for the other factions healers because of manaburn. Manaburn alone annoys the crap out of healers, and you have the most amazing survivability through your disc spec and utility. With inner fire and inner fire glyph you can actually reach 40-50% damage reduction through armor, which is on par with plate armor at 40! If you are wanting rediculous damage, survivability, and the ability to do some heals when needed then I suggest a ret paladin or holy paladin if you want to heal.

Disc priest > all and mana burn will make you almost guaranteed to wreck any other mana using class. As for melee, your survivability is through the roof and even your physical damage mitigation. Killing people fast is a diff story though. ;)

definately disc priest would be your best bet, although an FC druid isn't too bad. FC druids get rolled by rogues pretty hard though.

Can only agree, and say Disc priest. OR, possibly shadow with unbreakable will, imp inner fire and inner fire. Still got a lot of the survivability and you can do some sick damage :p.

priests are a hell of a lot harder for me to kill than druids

Since 3.1, shadow priest are really bad at 39, i wouldn't recommend that.

shadow priests are NOT bad since 3.1, they just go oom alot. If they didn't have mana problems it would be better/ more viable.

Thanks for the help everyone, I settled on a priest. But, I have a question about BOA gear...does a priest need any? I heard one of the boa staffs got a SP buff, but I honestly dont know which one :p So, what weapon/enchant should a 39 priest have?

I have enough marks for 1 boa piece, and if a priest doesnt NEED boa, I'd like to spend it on my rogue :p

It's quite possible for a Spriest to hit 4k mana, when your doing 150-200/sec Mindflay things don't last long. If you are with a high dps partner in arena, Spriests are awesome.

if you're looking for a pure survivability gear/spec, check that out. not only do you survive, but you can heal for insane amounts of time. i have emblem shoulders which aren't equipped atm, and i chose to go with the WSG staff w/ 30 int > the BoA and SoJ. while i have both weps, i mainly stick with the intel. for even more stats, you could get Robes of the Lich..but that would leave you pretty low on sp.

i know its not perfect, but hopes it helps you out some. gl!
