I haven't played 19s the past 2 expansions like I have in the previous years until Legion. Since then I've been visiting the 19 forums a lot. I've seen a lot of negative posts whether it's regarding to quitting, the bracket being worse, you name it. This isn't just the 19s being negative either. Imo, some of you need to lighten up and be a positive impact to these levelers. Yes, it can be EXTREMELY frustrating, some people can just be hard headed and there's nothing you can really do about it .. I know the feeling ...

The point of the thread is don't be such a negative nancy. We as a community have experienced and learned so many strategic plays throughout the years of WoW's development. We're basically the black belts of PvP in our Twinking brackets to these levelers. All we need to do is branch off our knowledge to others.

I was on my 14 Twink Mage (soon to be 19) and I was in a WSG that was going COMPLETELY downhill. I kindly whispered a player who was currently holding the BG Lead to pass it off to me. Once done, I took initiative and leadership over these players. I began calling out strats in /rw and everyone cooperated! No miscommunication, no ignoring, everyone worked together and listened. I honestly wish I recorded that BG with how well everyone listened. As everyone followed my directions and listened, we ended up winning the BG 1-0. Ending the BG by turtling with the flag as both teams carried each others flags at their bases. It was an intense game TBH. I personally enjoyed myself and felt proud because of what simple actions can cause.

Here's a picture I took with my phone of the players appreciating what I did to turn the game around. Moral of the story, don't give up! Just stand up and work together! That's what we need the most anyways <3

A positive attitude will get you far in life, a toxic attitude will take you to Stormscale horde.
 
Many people do listen if you are a persistent leader, one of the best feelings is to have people commend the leadership. Grouping and team mentality is underrated. good post m8!

BG lead = the ability to type in /rw which means a higher chance people will see commands. Kinda hard to miss a big red text in the middle of your screen xD

And very very nice indeed, i do admire people who have such patience to just say something in chat meanwhile playing the game. I myself detest typing meanwhile playing, because of the way i chose to play. It has become an instinct for me to check where everyone on my team and their team is, so i can play around my resources(People) on the map, that is the Pug perspective of it, and that is why i think i shine mostly in Pugs.

In 10v10s, i am kinda quiet, and this can be proven by @Phobias , @snug or whomever that was on the team, or had me play for other teams. It was quite the challenge for me to get to the point where you can play in a awesome way and talk, meanwhile thinking about the next move etc. And to be honest, this gave me a huge lesson about life itself, socializing and cooperating with your team-mates in a game played by groups can be game changing. It completely changed the way I behaved in such sports(Volley, football etc). I never tried and never took it serious, i thought i was basically having fun just trolling them, but after I stood countless hours talking to my friends, i started to understand how choices must be made in a group, and how amazing it felt cooperating with them. I finally got to know about the glory of winning a game as a team --
, and for sure also losing, it felt better either way, because it was because of us all improving, getting to know each-other better etc.
 
I made a set of simple text macros, just telling the bg what direction i'm going with the flag. Either GY, Ramp or Tunnel. I made another 3 for the EFC. They are fairly innocent, to the effect of "Going this direction, please assist" and well, 75% of the time I just get shit on. "Those are stupid" "Shitty macro" "Ya those suck" etc etc. Wow, so much for that. Even in games where i'm a 10 disc and get high kills, caps and returns. Don;t matter, people just shit on it.
