BC or Wrath socketed items

Just started my 10s for twinking. (Doing Guardian, Fury, Arcane, and MM for now.) If I Chromie up, will BC or Wrath gear (socketed) drop and be eligible for use? Or is the math done somewhere and WoD still better overall?

Thrasher is pretty impressive. Just wondering if anyone had seen or done the math. I got ilvl 69 boots on my mage on my first run, so I know it can be done.

you... you can do it yourself. X sockets x Y gems = Z stats

Compare stats per piece of gear

More stats is more better

Well, sure, more stats is more better. I was just trying to save myself some time and effort in the ol' spreadsheet and Wowhead departments. A cursory glance tells me there are level restrictions on the BC stuff, so that probably won't work after all. It is what it is. I'll do my research and try to share what I find.
