Going to go bang my head against the fridge for the rest of the night. I imagine somewhere around hour 6 I'll break through and be able to fend off starvation until life is good again.
I'll be back tomorrow.

Simple. They will be banned from the twink cup if they don't follow the bans.

Add ally GY jump to that and we are even

Why is horde bottom to gy banned, but alliance is not?
I wasn't aware you could with ally GY. I'd argue that no one on alliance would do something like that anyway.

That being said, to just make it easy, edited to include both factions.

And you enforce these how?

39s has always been a strong community. Players found offending will not stay in games. They risk not being able to play in future 39 events.

Honestly, I don't believe in enforcing rules into Pugs. Let Pugs be pugs and premades be premades. Don't mix it up.

Could you please add chronic AFK'ers to banned? It ruins fun for the guy who has to come into the last minute of a game, just as much as a flash bomb, it's also quite disrespectful to all of the other 19 players on the field.

Yeah Shaket, that was addressed in another thread, concerning players who swap toons for the new set of pops. You can log out on a character in a bg with 30 seconds left and it won't kick them and pop for another player.

Ferals shouldn't be banned - if you can 1v1 it it isnt op.

banning sertan specs and spells from pug games might seem a bit too much, I can understand you would want to do it for war-games but won't a list of rules this early in the activity just put players off? if you were to bann players from entering war-games if they abuse either things from the 'rule set' based from pug games, wouldn't you just end up removing potential competition or teams for a tourney?

I guess what I'm trying to say is what Blaze already mention is that there's a huge difference between war-games and pugs.

for example if someone was to break a rule during a tournament they would get a map taken or get disqualified. while if you're playing pugs you could spend an entire game chasing a FC druid around a CTF map because of jumps, so it would make sense to clutch on whatever bombs if you don't want to lose every game.

idk ,it's a tricky situation either way as you won't be able to please everyone.

Ok the TP jump is allowd if you want to learn the simple jump watch the vid on it its so easy.

The bracket is still in a rather tenuous state. Successful pugging always predates successful wargaming. As such, if you turn people off with unrestrained use of imbalances, the second will be less likely to occur at all. 39s are far from back and discretion ought to be exercised if you care about the longevity of this bracket/want to wargame.

Boostz, take it or leave it. Some advice from someone who has been teaching, dealing with, and leading people that are close to the age of those that play this game for 15 years now.

I think you are doing a lot of great things, but I would recommend softening your stance on banning things. I think you are headed in a direction that will be too hard to police, and eventually cause you more headaches than it is worth. For one you really have no real way of policing these things. I have found putting rules on things whether in life or in-game just causes more people to try to break them then anything. We are dealing with adolescence or young adults in most cases.

Instead strongly discourage the use of things. Talk to them one on one (not in a forum), their guild leaders, and others they play with. Try to work with them, rather then against them.

My thoughts on things.

PUGS are exactly that. We seem to have started confusing PUGS with premades. Premades have set rules and PUGS really don't. That is their nature. You go into a PUG knowing that things are not going to always be equal.

Discourage things like OP consumables, exploiting, classes, and abilities. Not ban things you can't fully control.

We discourage these things because..........

Exploiting is doing something that was not intended by the makers of the game. It is often beneficial to one side and not the other. For this reason, we would rather not have it in game.

If someone does it, talk to them, try to get them to see your point. If they don't, move on. Chances are you harp on it, threaten, or make a big deal they will just continue doing it. Just look at the history of Flaggoblin.

Good luck on your endeavor. I don't want to see you get burnt out due to petty BS
