Assault on Bash'ir Landing Phasing Issue

So I’m trying to get the Tense Unstable Diamond for my 11 warrior. I already farmed the apexis shards. But when I invite my high level friend to do the event at the crystalforge, he’s phased from me since I’m timewalking. But if I turn off timewalking, I can’t get back to Outland. Do I have to be summoned to Outland by a warlock or something? Sorry I’m really new to this.

Both players need to be in the same timeline (or both in present timeline).
Alliance players have other options to get to Outlands without being in a timeline:
1. Inside the Temple Gardens in Darnassus is a portal to Hellfire Peninsula
2. Talk to Honor Hold Mage just inside the mage tower in SW. She will port you to a) Hellfire Peninsula, or b) Blasted Lands. If b) then talk to Zidormi in Blasted Lands and set it back to past Blasted Lands. The Honor Hold Mage will now always port you to Hellfire (until you change Blasted Lands back to present).

I don't know what options are available to the smelly hordies.
