Hi I'd like to calculate out which lvl would be best in the 80-84's and 85-89's bracket. So therefor I would need a list of lvl up changes to the base stats and downscaling of the % based stats.
Any guide around this?

tho lower lvl the higher +ilvl you gain..
there was a post about it somewheere that said that all you need to do is look at witch items you can gain for +1..

The ilvl scaling isn't linear though, so people usually go 82 because there is a big drop at 83.

80-84
-80's get best gear scaling, but only get full WOTLK gem and enchant values
-81's have second scaling but get full value of CATA gem and enchant values and increased values on MOP enchancements
-82 and 83 should have same near gear scaling but diminished over 80/81
-84's gear does not scale, but have MOP more gear to use, which overcomes scaling by lower levels

of my four 80 i had i just popped two of them, BG ques were rather long before the patch 30min++, now after CATA being made free, today i was at 1 hour 52 min and no BG. and BG s no no longer show a avg BG wait time, signs of a dead bracket

85-89
- 85 same as 80 above
- 86 same as 81 but will get full MOP gem/enchant/etc values
- 82-84 same as 81-84 above

MOP hear items scale insanely highly high at 85 and 86, my friends have played this bracket for over a year, they were at 85 and went to 86. same as other brackets, unless you get some FOTM OP I WIN talents above 86, i would not pass that level.

i will be going to 85 because that is my cap now, at least now i will be able to be full MOP geared

I believe all classes receive a new ability at 87, so 86 would just be a waste, but for the scaling it would rock!

84 is the best for all the classes

And for the 85-87 i think 87 is the best with 476 head.
