Another Shadowfang Thread

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, please feel free to flog me if so. I saw this in the AH forum:

According to WoW Head, it appears SFK will not be removed after all - Shadowfang Keep - Zone - World of Warcraft required levels are now going to be 10 - 16 with Heroic mode available (85).

Ok, so, SFK is turning into a more lowbie-ish zone. But Shadowfang is keeping the ilvl of 24:

Soooo, what does that mean? Will Shadowfang/AB still drop? Will the bosses remain lvl 20-21 while the zone is designed for a 10-16?



Is all this incredibly wrong and I'm stupid for asking?

Pretty much answerd your own question.

Yes it will still drop and you can still farm it for some happy times .

in it's current state, i seriously doubt it will drop in SFK. IMO, can't see a lvl-24 item for lvl-19 dropping in a 10-16 instance



the real question to Blizz....is it gonna drop any place in the game such as a world drop?



if it changes to a level-16 weapon, i would say yes



there has been alot of QQ on SF on wowforums, blizz has deleted threads, banned posters and warned others. if you post on wowforums, you pretty well get fan boy responses, blizz won't answer with reasonable responses other than yes it drops

As of what we've heard last it still requires lvl 19 in Beta. I don't think anyone can speak yet with certainty on what's going to happen (though people are more than willing to present their opinion as factual information). But deep down I kinda wonder if they'll make it drop somewhere else (kinda like what they're doing with the Razzashi Hatchling) since it's such an iconic item (definitely the most iconic twink item and it's known by a lot of people that never twinked).
