So, I was digging-through some of my old browser bookmarks (seeing if I had any good transmog links that might inspire @DAXinko to practice his "Pixel-Art")... when I came across one that I had somehow forgotten about: a random player's WoD "character archive".
Some background:
Anyway, this was over three years ago, so I don't know if they were ever able to get "caught-up" again in Legion or BfA... but at least their ephemeral achievement will be forever "immortalized" in these screenshots.
(...and I know that we're all "proud" of our twinks here... but I doubt that any of us are "47 character in-game photo-sessions" proud of them!)
Some background:
This player finished MoP with a single max-level character for every class (like many other players, I'd presume)... and after WoD launched, eventually leveled them to max again. Proceeds to get them all nicely-geared, farms all of their desired transmogs, and they're set.
...but now what? Raid? PvP?
"Nope!"
Starts slowly leveling more characters "from scratch"... and again finishes, and gears, and 'mogs. "Next!"
Eventually there's one of every class and spec... leveled. Geared. 'Mogged. "Next!"
Starts working on characters of opposite factions... levels, gears, 'mogs (...you get the picture).
By the time Legion is approaching, they're up to 47 max-level, fully-geared, wonderfully-transmogged characters... so before the next expansion can make them all "incomplete" again, this player decides to memorialize them with what I can only describe as "a professional in-game Photo-Session" for every character.
Thematic locations... multiple poses... featured off-specs/pets/mounts... impeccable composition and lighting...
Seriously, the sheer amount of effort and care that went into creating this collection is mind-boggling. I don't know whether to give them an award, or commit them to an insane-asylum.
