Age of Conan - Anyone played it till endgame?

So ye, looks entertaining (can't judge from one clip, I know). Watched some vids with it and livestreams and it looks like an adventure I might take.



I bought it on release date, but my PC is too rubbish to literally move in the game. I get a new gamer rig next week (£1.180,88 / $1.904,85) and was wondering if it's worth buying the expansion that has come in the mean while. My game have been stored away in a closet.



Anyone - as the title implies - who has tried this game till end-game, and got some constructive things to say about it? Good/Bad? Thanks! :)
 
I was planning to try out the game as well. I tried the free trial, I really enjoyed the combat system. But yeah, as it turned out, I had to buy it online, and didn't have any money on the card, so I lost interest. I did check forums though, and there are different opinions on end-game. When I last checked it out, they were crying about a couple of classes being OP, as well as all the farming needed to get gear. It seemed like the most efficient way actually was farming the same mobs over and over I think... (this is for PvP).

Many people were saying good things too, so I think there's only one way to find out whether you like it or not: try it out yourself.

EDIT: I think the general opinion is that the game has a lot of potential due to the combat system, but a bad crew is messing some things up.
 
So if starting to play it, all I need to figure out is what the OP class is, so I get a good experience of the game to begin with? haha, joke aside, I started my WoW game as a scrub rogue, and went priest as soon as rogue ding'd 60. PvP was never any good as a priest (I could've just been bad, but the survive vs things such as a warrior was almost non existant - and I wasn't UD for Spriest :p)



Anyone else tried it, preferably endgame? :D
 
how could you sleep at night knowing that this would deprive blizzard of money

I thought you were against that sort of thing
