I was in queue for 45 min while solo queueing for AB only. Missed the first one. Some people don't have all night long to wait for a game to pop. Gave up a bit before 8:00 CDT.

I'm fine with AB, what kills game nights is people languishing in queues. It was decided collectively that we'd queue wsg/tp after a certain point. Particularly, once the 19s snagged a bunch of people for WG. I'm merely disseminating that information, which on this site is probably needless.

At any rate, at about 7:45CDT it was determined in TS that we would swap over and queue WSG. Thus, that is what happened.

queues werent going to pop with the numbers we had. people were swapping back and forth alliance to horde to try and get it but after 19's took some it was basically pointless to try for ab

k, so ques were supposed to start @ 8 eastern, per the AB que thread, are you saying that after a whole 45 minutes, people basically said fuck anybody who wanted to get some AB in, wsg or bust?

there was a headcount and numbers weren't close at all. even with outliers of people not on ts

sorry guys. i would have queued up, but last game night, i was one of 5 priests on horde. i sat out a couple games that night because people came into ts to bitch about it. i figured i'd just wait to play until i had another toon to play.
maybe it would have made a difference, maybe not. but the way i feel about it, is that we need like a "currently wanted" thread or something for what roles are needed on what side because if people are reading the old threads, they are going to think that horde still needs disc priests, and stuff like that will onlyt lead to discouragement and disappointment.

Sadly AB night has to be on peak night, like its hard to pull numbers on a weekday without our bracketmaster

I think we ought to try and get a better sense whether an AB night is even desired among the wider base of players. At the moment, given the fast two difficulties, I sort of doubt it.

It is desired by a majority but not necessarily by the same 30 people who queue at 8 PM on a Wednesday.

What are you basing that on though? Seems like our AB nights have been rocky and another night like tonight is not great for the bracket to be sure.
