A little tip to twinkinfo!

I think it would be awesome if it was a online chat on this website. I mean, if it were a channel, where all could join, and everybody could talk about everything.



For example something like this;



*Roflocopter has joined the channel*



Roflocopter says: HI!

Randomnoob says: Hello Roflo!

Randomfroob says: Yea, hi again!



Just a normal chat, where all messages came instant, and where you dont need to post replies and stuff. Think this would improve the site ALOT.



(And btw, I feel like an idiot if you already have this and I just dont know about it)

I'm sure we can arrange something like this. I'm not sure if vBulletin has this sort of function built in, but we may be able to arrange a chat service outside of the site if need be. Drayner has the final call on this of course.

maybe this would work, but i come here mainly to explore stuff about twinks, and a chat thing isn't that great for it IMO since the fourms get it done.

I go here to read posts whenever I'm flying somewhere or doing something that takes afk time in wow. A chat is too time consuming for me, so I know I wouldnt use it.

It's a timing thing...Sometimes when you need instant answers it'd be nice, others it's just...there

Sometimes you'd really like answers now, but then there's the, "Oh, I have an 8 minute flight ahead of me... I might just go in and check on Twink Info to see who else has a Combatant Greatsword on a level 10 Dwarf."



It would be a good option to have, but whether it would be a popular and much used one I'm not so sure of.

I helped develop a site with similar functionality.

(It's pure instant messaging....not a competitor to this site...)

We use it to coordinate queuing for battlegrounds.

I think a chat would be very useful and relevant, if we could implement a proper chat and not just a shout box that would be great. Maybe a IRC chat on a page?
