Just something cool that not everyone will know about. Only making a thread about it as lots of people on my battle.net didn't know about it, including me until today.

There is an item named Talisman of Binding Shard that only dropped once before being removed from the game.

This item was removed from the game's loot tables after the loot in MC was completely redone.

History: When the game came out you could get both Tier 1 and Tier 2 sets from MC and this was later changed in the 1.4 patch in preparation for BWL. When this change came through, this item became no longer obtainable along with the Tier 2 sets (save the pants from rag and helm from ony). The Tier 2 sets were once again obtainable in the BWL patch however this item remains property of a select few players who were raiding MC during the first months of the game's release.

Now that's a legendary item. Only 1 person to ever get it. Read about that a few years back thought it was interesting. Wonder how much he would get if he sold that character :p.

Incorrect, it has only been dropped one time to the warrior that was linked. They let him keep it and he no longer plays to my knowledge. After it was dropped it was removed. No knowledgeable article would say there are more than 1 because that is simply false.
