70 Warrior twink guide?

Twinkle

Legend
Does anybody know of a good 70 warrior twink guide? I've just dinged my warrior to 70 and decided to twink it, but I have no clue what to do, arms or fury, I notice a lot of warriors switching stances quite often and have no clue what that's about, I levelled as prot so I'm pretty clueless right now, I looked for a guide but couldn't seem to find one, any help is appreciated, thank you.

Well it depends wether you rather play prot or arms (fury is pointless)

Prot: More mobility (intercept), more survival, a blanket silence on pummel and heroic throw (gag order) and more stun locks (overall more peels)

Arms: More damage overall, a root effect every minute for 5 seconds (improved harmstring), only 1 stun (throwdown) and a 'freedom' called bladestorm which once in the past used to do damage

I don't play a warrior but as far as I know those are the main differences, to be quite honest you can have a hard time as Arms since you will get buttraped by any mage/rogue/hunter etc. So my advice is, if you leveled as prot and if you enjoyed it, keep it and you will be able to push higher ratings and actually not die in 2 seconds.

Also, Kipale is known to be the best 70 warrior actually, and I'm admired he hasn't replyed to this thread yet but anyways, I'm going to drop his armory here so you can take a peak, hopefully he won't mind ^^

enjoy your stay :)

Thanks for the reply :) I'd been told fury was the downright best for pvp 70 twinking, guess that was a lie ^^. I'm really struggling with this atm because theirs just so many abilities and cooldowns, I'm used to playing a retadin at 85 so it's pretty simple in comparison, so would you recommend prot?

Yeah vixey told you the basic things about the specs.
I would play arms, but there is basicly no way to survive mage + rogue or some other double dps damage. Most viable way to go prot. Arms is only fine in bgs specially with healer.
Check my armory for BiS gear.

Okay thank you :) I think I'll go arms for bgs and prot for arena then, what about things like CD usages and macros? Should I be changing stances to do other things? It's all rather new and confusing

This isn't wotlk... in cata there isn't anymore stance dances :) least as arms, you only switch to defensive stance for shield wall/block and disarm, it's only 10% less damage taken so it's not that gamebreaking, best thing you can do is stay battle stance and keep pressure all the time by staying offensive and getting clutch shield reflects. Also intervene isn't even available at 70

Some macros:

quick disarm:

#showtooltip Disarm
/cast [stance:2] Disarm; [stance:1/3] Defensive Stance

cancel aura bladestorm / pummel:

#showtooltip Pummel
/cancelaura Bladestorm
/cast Pummel; Pummel

switch to battle stance: (switch battle with defensive for the other macro)

/cast Battle Stance
/equip (name of the weapon)

Reflect: (there are probably better ones)

#showtooltip Spell Reflction
/equip (shield name)
/equip (1h name)
/cast Spell Reflection

also make one with cooldowns like:

/cast recklessness
/use 13 (or whatever slot your trinket is in)
/use gloves

there are many others, but those seem mandatory

Thanks very much for those ^^ I know I'm probably starting to be annoying now, but is their a 'rotation' in a way of what sort of attacks to use? Edit: In prot, I think I'm going to stay prot instead of trying arms :)
