70 Fury Warrior in Wrath

Ok so I have a BiS Prot Warr with 95% Armor Pen already.
Wanted to gear my second spec for PvE DPS and the question I have is..
Does anyone know if Warglaives would out DPS 2x Apylons? I already have 1 Apylon and I have mainhand Warglaive. Has anyone already determined what would be the better DPS? 2x Apylons would add a total of 6 extra sockets.. so depending on what I'm gemming for , that's the advantage I see. Thanks in advance for any input on the subject.
 
glaives are dead w/ TG.
tbf tho fury at 70 will be kinda lacking since you're missing your most important arms subspec but ye
 
Gotcha, so you think Arms would actually be better DPS than fury with the lack of subtalents.

yes, altho i am uncertain as to how it works wrt level 70, and how much armor of a boss you can ignore w/ it
i might have to look into it at some point, but ye
 
If we are talking about non “9s” bracket twinks, I think 60 in wrath needs a big shoutout. If my memory serves me right, all the engineering glove and belt enchants are available, as well as duel GLG, and yes you will be going against 69 twinks with 10k health, however a 60 ret, rogue, hunter, or fire mage can get some high crit %, and are nothing to sneeze at.

I also just remembered people were doing weird level twinks like 62 casters, 64 plate users, and so on, to really maximize those secondary stats. Yes leveling from 60 to 62 might make your 400 crit rating worth a little less %, the gems that open up from 61-62 gem gear ends up outweighing the loss

iirc, wrath was when they changed armor pen from a fixed number to a % right? I remember being able to stack enough armor pen to (more-or-less) negate a bosses armor in TBC but unless my brain is rotten (it is) they got upset about that and like capped armor pen at 40%? 50%? in wrath and then slowly killed the stat.

percentage but w/ a cap that effectively meant your physical stuff did 50% more damage against heavily armored targets at 100% arp. i know the formula for level 80/83, but i am uncertain as to how it'd scale at lower levels

yea, that tracks with my memory of it. Shockingly. ARP was always my favorite stat but my brains purged all the specifics since then.
