Nogah

Legend
  • Heres my new toon, it was basically twinked in a week (don't have time in the long run for 60s BiS hunting but respect for those who do it)

Nogah @ Arathor - Game - World of Warcraft

Any advice on BiS is welcome.

    Upcoming/known replacements

-The chest is soon being replaced with The exarch's protector or the one that drops from slave pens

-The darkmoon trinket is gonna be replaced with the Goblin rocket launcher

-The heirloom weapon will hopefully be replaced by thunderfury, but untill then--any ideas?

So, give advice and rate if u like :)

In case you want to pvp with that:

    - get 10 sta on shoulders and head

    - get some resi gems

    - agi on cloak

    - tuskarr's vitality on boots

    - 275 health on chest or 20 resi

    - get a onehanded BoA spell power weapon

    ...

you know what just check this out: Bundyjump @ Ravencrest - Game - World of Warcraft

Original class/spec combo btw (can't get why people roll prot pala's like a madman :s)

    Thanks for the feedback!

Indeed I'm missing a few enchants and some of them can be upgraded.

Why exactly should i get a spellpower weapon?

Vengeance --the prot talent: Each time you take damage, you gain 5% of the damage taken as attack power, up to a maximum of 10% of your health.

Also why would i stack resi? With vengeance the more hp i have the higher damage i can dish out, my crits go from 4-8k and so far i'm unmatched in the 60s brackets.

Looking better, id still get better relic & trinket and slap 10 stam on helm and shoulders.

Hi, I would give you 7.5/10 at the present time.

Heavy Knothide Armor Kit to head.

Heavy Knothide Armor Kit to shoulder or one of the Aldor/Scryer enchants like Inscription of Faith, Inscription of the Blade or Inscription of the Knight.

Get 22 Agi to cloak enchant.

Get 275 Health to chest enchant.

Get Tuskarr's Vitality to boots. Especially if you PvP, you need the speed increase. Your current enchant is only good for Holy PvE (and that is arguably).

Change your relic to Libram of Zeal and change the gem in it to Etched Dreadstone. This will ensure you are now hitcapped against other 64`s. Whilst I appreciate you want to stack stamina, getting hitcap is more important as you already have enough health. As there are no Stamina/Hit rating gems, I went with Strength/Hit to maximise your offense.

As you have already mentioned get the Engineering stamina trinket and a better one-hander. Until you get Thunderfury, there are decent drops from Blackwing Lair like Crul'shorukh, Edge of Chaos or Chromatically Tempered Sword. Or even the PvP one-handers are good.

    Regards.

Why not forego 10 stamina on gloves and get 20 hit rating so he is at least hitcapped?

I was never fond of stam stacking. I will be honest. Wouldn't you rather gem Resil? u can get close to 60% damage reduced from what i have played around with on chardev.

Don`t trust chardev for current Resilience changes. You cannot get anywhere near 60% damage mitigation on a 64 even with full 20 Resilience gems. I`d guess nearer 40%. It would be nice to hear what ingame damage mitigation he sees with the amount he has tbh.

A combination of Stamina and Resilience could work nicely I imagine. It is just that with huge amounts of Stamina any buffs will scale bette than resilience which will always be the same (as in inchanged by Kings buff etc).
