Hey guys, Lately I've been working on my 59 Twink Paladin Tank, and I've gotten this so far:
[Seal of Light]
[Judgement of Light]
[Reckoning]
[Ironfoe]
[Hand of Justice]
[Skullflame Shield]
It all works in a chain. Seal of light and Judgement of light Heal me when I attack my targets. Ironfoe and Hand of justice Proc on "chance on hit". Reckoning Procs when I block or get hit. Skullflame Shield's Lifestealing procs when I take damage.
I do a lot of attacks, each attack heals me, and I heal myself when I get attacked, and when I get attacked, I attack even more, and when I attack more, I heal more. It works in a chain, and it repeats. This will easily let me solo any dungeon by just casting my Judgement of Light and Holy Shield.
My Question is what enchantment should i use? Since it is a Pre-BC item, I cannot put any 60+ Enchantments on it unless it is a quest item with a ilevel of 60+. This leaves me with two BiS Enchantments for my weapon:
[Crusader]
[Mongoose]
Mongoose
Pros about Mongoose:
1. Gives me 120 Agility, this will increase my Dodge/Armor/Crit Chance.
2. Increases my Attack speed(notice my ironfoe has a 2.4 Speed, the extra attack speed wouldn't hurt)
3. It looks sick with your video-graphics up.
Cons about Mongoose:
1. Only Increases my attack speed by 2%, If the weapon speed is 2.4, It'll only change it to 2.352 attack speed; there is hardly any difference.
Facts about Mongoose:
1 Agi gives me 0.05% increased dodge. This means 120 Agi will gives me 6% Increased dodge.
1 Agi gives me 2 Armor( 0.03% Decreased melee damage ). 120 Agi will give me 240 Armor ( 3.6% Decreased melee Damage)
1 Agi gives me 0.05% Increased Crit. 120 Agi would give me 6% Increased Crit.
Overall: The agi is pretty good and the enchantment look is bada*s. But the increased speed doesn't look like it's worth it.
Crusader
Pros about Crusader:
1. Heals me 75-125 Life
2. Gives me 100 Str
Cons about Crusader:
1. The enchantment look isn't good ;/
2. Has a reduced effect for players above level 60.(I am not too sure if that means the str will be lowered or the life gained will be lowered or what, but thats what the enchantment says)
3. 75-125 Life gained out of my 7500-9000(depending of my buffs) life is only about 0.01% of my life, which isn't that much.
Facts about Crusader:
100 Str = 200 AP. 200 AP. 4 AP = 1 Increased Damage. 200 AP = 50 Increased Damage.
2 Str Increased the amount of damage my blocks can absorb by 1 Damge. That means 100 Str will increase that up to 50 damage.
Overall:
It's not overly OP for level 59, but it's good. The look sucks tho(not that it matters).
Reasoning for this post: I was origanally going to go straight for crusader enchantment, but then I slapped my forehead and remembered that most tanks will have a mongoose enchantment on their MH. So thats when I asked myself if Mongoose enchantment could be better than Crusader. I asked my friends and they weren't sure. They'd pick mongoose for their 80s but at 59, it could go both ways.
Now that you know, will the people of the forums please help me decide which is better; Mongoose enchantment or the Crusader enchantment?
