5.4 enchants

I got this from one of the other forums...5.4
•All permanent item enhancements provided by Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, and various vendors and quests are now able to be applied to items of any level. The effects of these enchantments will be scaled down to the level of the player using the item.

jun 2010? 0 likes? wtf ppl lol

So I've been reading up on this and can't wait to hit the PTR to see what it means. Here are some best case/worst case things

1) The scaling is done for every enchant making current ones (Crusader/Life Steal/etc...) worthless at level 1
2) The scaling normalizes at level 10 as things have done in the past still granting us better enchants
3) Belt Buckles?!
4) Socketed heirlooms?
5) Profession only enchants? (although I could see you having to have rank 1 for them to work...which makes my engineering twink on Hyjal super sexy!!!)
6) Which enchants to take will be the big deal. As soon as I can get my hands on the scaling mechanics, we need to bust out the maths to see...this could be fun.
7)Shoulder enchants!
8) And the biggest thing of all - WE NOW GET EXPERTISE!

*) Regardless...this is one of those changes that completely reworks level 1 twinking...only this time in a good way!

Been doing some testing for 80 - 85 twinks on the PTR and decided to see what the tooltips say on a level 1.

Sounds like fun. :)

Dancing Steel & Jade Spirit
62 Stat @ Level 1

Elemental Force
101 - 120 Damage @ Level 1

Yeah, it looks like the scaling currently is being worked out. At some point a dev is going to ask "what about twinks" and then I'm assuming they'll change the formulas...because currently they are OP for all levels 5 lower than the intended enchant

OH .. and an Int enchant for Furbolg!

The enchants at level 1 are exactly the same as at level 19, so this might be of use: http://goo.gl/YfnWs
I assume they'll change that eventually, but if this is what they're bringing, that would be amazing for us level ones! Really looking forward to this. LoL is elohell, endgame PvP isn't balanced, this'll be perfect!

Ow, wait..
They will probably make lowlevel talents & heals even stronger, so without heals we won't be able to compete in PvP, again. Let's hope..

Various vendor and quests is intriguing to me ... I don't have time to do wowhead searches atm, so anyone else have a list of vendor/quest items that provide permanent enhancements?

I'm assuming vendor ones mean the shoulder enchants ... but I can't think of any quest rewards

im gonna test how much dodge i can get on coolbank i opied him to ptr i will check in with u guys with the final thing

my findings are with the premade character u can get 16 dodge on a level 1 (leg patch shoulder arcanum and bracer enchant that leaves open alot more dodge potential)
so im seeing a VERY bright future for us level 1s get the rogues a battlehorn and they will tank next patch
i will suggest the rogue use a hit enchant or 2 and use the weapon enchant that gives a bubble on proc

*NOTE* i couldnt get dodge percent because stats were broken mainly cause ptr isnt fully downloaded!

i will do the dodge percent calculation when i log into live
to help u some with math u get a base of 23.59% dodge and u get 1.38% dodge per dodge stat
with the base added with the 16 dodge i get 45.67% dodge from 3 enchants
all enchants and patches/shoulder enchant totals of 70.51% dodge with base added in!

on another note u cant put belt buckle on and mail it aka gems will not be available at level 1
also same with ring enchants(unless u have boa rings)!

Coolbank, there is level 1 enchants I believe, I remember there being a nightmare tear or something? It gives +4 to all stats or +10 I'm not sure, but don't belt buckles make it soulbound...? There's no heirloom belt so yeah we can't get that, but I did some looking on the 5.4 enchants thing and this is what I came up with so far,
41 AP
43 agility
21 crit
22 stamina
18 dodge
+8% speed
+44 haste\180 agility procs (from 2 procs)
Using 2x mongoose among other enchants if all is according to the google docs thing.

ALSO! I did look up stamina stacking for a night elf rogue with 2 agms and it came out with 1803 HEALTH, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?

But odds are some of that is messed up or blizzard will ruin all of our fun and be left out in the cold again with only a few enchants but hopefully, all goes as shows and we will be able to fight 30s again :)

Yes, I know it's a gem, but he was talking about belt buckles unless I misread, I was saying that if you would be able to add a belt buckle then nightmare's tear would be the gem to go for.

I know it probably won't work that's why I didn't add it to my thing but if it would work somehow which I doubt because I think belt buckles = soulbound then it won't, unless they make it for any level to use which I do doubt.
