What rings should i go for, and what (if needed) should i replace? please halp, im aiming for BOA cloak +helm +shoulders + ring. help me fill in the blanks.



Also, im liking demo, but i like the feel of affliction way more. should i go destro? im thinking that each spec has a diff stat req, Aff = haste demo = stam destro = crit/sp, someone educate me?
 
Go full Postmasters and then go from there imo.



You can get satchel bracers and boots as well, which are all good.



Destro is ok, not as good after they nerfed the hell out of searing pain and super imp. Affliction is ok as well, but don't expect to do a lot of burst. Demo is our way to go for good burst and control on a single target.



Don't run double AGM, there are better trinkets to fill that 2nd trinket slot.

what stats should i aim to stack now? stam,int, haste? how much hit should i get? is spell pen worth anything? if i go demo what skills will i be using? will shadow damage be my main damage source? im stacking stamina atm, a loooot imo, and i want to know if thats the correct path to take if im going demo.
 
OH also, im assuming by satchel you meant the random loot bags, but should i get them "of Stamina" or what other flavors should i be grinding for? idk the caster flavor names.
 
It just depends on what you want to aim for. For the most part, if I'm playing with people I know, I pretty much go with a straight haste set (for me it's the usual). If I know I'm going up against a group that's burst/damage heavy, I'll run stamina. I'd recommend keeping tabs on both.



You'll need enough hit to get 4% I believe. Just keep an eye out on your hit until your miss percentage goes to 0.00%.



There's really no need to go for specific classes of damage anymore at 49. Intellect is pretty much the stat to go for. As Demo, you will be using Hand of Guldan as often as you can off CD (My cast time on that with my current haste set is 1.7 seconds), and basically you will be using your Felguard to bring pain on people. I've tried some interesting chain combos with Glyph of Fear (Fearing my target in place of Hand of Guldan so they get stunned unless they trinket), but that's not always ideal.



And yea, random dungeon satchels. Stamina is fine, you can run Eagle as well or go for of the Sorcerer. Hand of Guldan hits like a truck though, so Spellpower is always a good stat to have.

quests, possibly having someone kill a mob while youre a ghost in grp for rep.....idk exactly but that rings a bell that twinks of some bracket other than 70 used to be able to get the deathsworn trinkets. but iirc they got fixed somehow. and ive never seen a 49 or otherwise with the box or jouster so idk bout those
 
i keep thinking about it and i swear... that ashtongue trinket rings a bell... im pretty sure i saw someone with it back during BC... i dont think i tripped much because its only a vague memory... but still... if i can still get that someway or another im all over it... are there any mobs outside of BT that give rep?
 
The only trinket I remember that drove some serious qq was the Shatari Skyguard one I believe. Skyguard Silver Cross or something.
 
crit isnt an important stat for locks...but its always good to go for the pieces that give you a high balance of stam/int/haste/ then resist&resil/ then crit IMHO
