49 Battlegroup?

Post says it all, i just need to know which battlegroup 49s are congregating in and the activity level for US NON-xp BG's.



I plan on rolling a priest and would also love chardevs/wowarmorys of some good 49 priest

I thought it was Ruin, however I dunno for sure.
 
I've heard that Ruin is inactive now and that 49's are dead. I hope I'm wrong though, but I'm just stating what I've heard of the current state of 49's.
 
Ruin for US. basically dead afaik...check the official forums and see if people are still trying to organize shit. i know i havent been in a wsg for at least a month over there, although i havent been trying too hard either. reverted back to my main sadly.



figure out all that then decide on whether you wanna make a twink. also you never said what you wanted to do - disc is healing, holy can be healing but is mostly dpds, shadow is blobviously dps

Yeah I've done lots to attempt to organize this. Beforehand, there were random attempts to get 1-a-week deals that weren't thoroughly followed through.



We have over 40 twinks, already done and ready on the Ruin server. I've armoried them all and they are "pretty good to go." I've set the time to 9PM Eastern every night, and to queue only 2v2s and WSG and take WSG as priority always, just so we wouldn't be spread out and joining different BGs.



Yet, for some reason, we still have yet to get a WSG. We get 2v2s quite decently most nights but its still a work in progress. You have to keep consistently showing up, I've talked about all the issues throughout the thread multiple times, so you can read em there if you want.



Also, about the Blackout EU 49 PvP transferring, I was wondering if I am US, how bad being on a EU server effects my playing. Let me know if you have any ideas, thanks! I envy your WSG status!



(PS: Each time I die in 2v2 to a 12/28 lock and a subtlety rogue with double cooldowns, I die inside a little bit more as we wait for WSGs lol. That combo is SOOO hard to beat.)
 
uhh sounds like you want to xfer from US to EU, which you cant do..need separate versions of the game
 
Thank you for the update, PT. I have an 49 alliance resto shaman that I'm almost done gearing up, and I hope to transfer to Ruin in a couple of weeks. While my spotty schedule certainly won't make me a regular, I'll help pop a queue or three if I can.

He doesn't imply that he wants to migrate though, he just wonders about the technical obstacles he has to overcome.



To answer Pukethirst; I had a friend playing on US servers for a while. Except the time-issue (You are -9.5H GMT to -4.5H GMT, server time is +1H GMT) you are probably looking at 250-400ms. Other than that, he experienced no problems.

I think you just need a EU account for that and it should be fixed.



atm we have not had a single scheduled one without games and last time it was scheduled we had games for 3 hours and 14 mins , and people had to sleep.



anyhow , not a daily basics though, we are basicly 1-2 in need of on each side more to be active cus we have 8 ish online on each side just on one server! (Draenor)



it will come after new year.





ps: I have seen and know 19 twinks who have switched between eu and us so should be possible :eek:)

change the realmlist etc.



only 150-300 ms someone said? :eek: nice. and where are you from in the US just to calculate the times, if you can play in the day it should be awesome for you cus we play late evening europe time.GMT+1
 
time shouldnt be that much of an issue. heck when you guys have those live streams thats like afternoon for me (EST). so it would be almost better to be in the US for that...oh and i currently have 240ms, which is average - no visible lag what so ever - so latency shouldnt be an issue.



but changing the realmlist...really? never tried anything like that, but i was always under the impression you needed a separate EU account to play on EU servers, not just simply change the list.
 
I used to have a US account cos I worked silly hours. Once I went to normal hours I switched too EU. Only problem is that you will not be able to play your US toon on EU server.



I had a 70 Rogue and several twinks which I wrote to blizz about getting them copied over to EU but they just kinda said gtfo. I even offered to pay them for the trouble. Reason they gave was that EU blizz and US Blizz are tecnically 2 different entities

Yes, you need both change realmlist and get a new account (think even you have to get a new battlenet account). I think its worse for EU players who wanna play on US servers cuase we have to play like in the middle to late night.
 
You can bind several WoW-accounts to one Battle.net-account.



An EU-version of WoW is cheaper than the $25 for the transfer - it's like $19 or something, currency conversion is poor at 9:51AM.



@Andra: You played on EU-realms though. My friend raided on US-servers, his raids started at 2AM and finished at 5:30AM, whereas if you would live in the US and raid on a European server, you'd raid from approximately 12PM to 3:30PM.

EU 4AM is 8-11PM in the US(not counting Alaska and Newfoundland).
