Id join. Got a decent group of 39's growing on Grobbulus ally. 49s have a few discords which is cool. Only downside I see is of you look at the forums here there isn't much discussion on the 49 braket. Everything just gets directed to their discords. So it has its pros and cons

A discord is a good idea, just moving topics that would make a good thread over to the discord just to be swallowed up with random chat is the only worry I have. But for communication with games it sounds solid

Last time we had a 39 community it was okay until trolls came in. Then it separated the community again because people became "tough guys" on the web. gaming + ego's = some people can't stop themselves from being 12 year old adults.

I have good news! I am a mod in the old Retail 39's server that has been up and running and is set up very well for coordinating cross-guild and cross-faction communication, while still maintaining a private space for guilds. I have been considering making a post just like this, but have been holding off because I am not really active in the Classic 39 community. So save your time @Livingforce !
