39 enhance shaman

So, I'm interested to come into the 39 bracket. After twinking in the 29 bracket, I have gotten bored with their not being any BGs going, and I utterly despise 19, so 39 here I come.



I really want to make an enhance shammy. I've played them at 29, and 70 and have always loved them. I imagine most of my gear is going to be similar to any BiS rogue. But its the weapons I need help on.



Since Mallet of Zul'Farrak - Item - World of Warcraft is no longer obtainable, would BiS be 2x Ardent Custodian - Item - World of Warcraft ? Even though their not very slow.



I am pretty set on duel-wielding since its available along with stormstrike, however I will carry a 2h with me. Is POD ( Pendulum of Doom - Item - World of Warcraft right?) still BiS? I've seen some people using Staff of Jordan - Item - World of Warcraft.



Any info at all about 39 shaman's is appreaciated, especially armory's of rogues and shamans, and maybe even some hunters.

Use 2x stonevault bonebreakers, other than that you're looking for rogue gear. You can drop a little stam for dps stats since you have slightly better survivability.

Could any Draenor-player drop the name of the Horde Enh Shaman with PoD? He's pretty damn close to BiS iirc.

Armories dont help much if they have grandfathered gear though. Look at med'an's rogue guide amd you will have a current gear list only needing to change weapons. If you go with BoAs use the hunter/shammy ones in place of stained shadowcraft. In general hit is a better stat than crit for dps but the crit from champion herod's gives you more burst, the choice is yours really.

You could also really benefit with a Shovelphlange's Mining Axe - Item - World of Warcraft if you're an orc imo.

I decided on Militia Hatchet - Item - World of Warcraft in MH and Shovelphlange's Mining Axe - Item - World of Warcraft in OH, with 2x mongoose.

Those are decent choices for sure, still say the bonebreaker with it's 2.7 sec speed though

Stonevault Bonebreaker - Item - World of Warcraft would only be better in my offhand. When compared to Militia Hatchet - Item - World of Warcraft (my MH wep) it has 1 more max damage, but less favorable stats. When compared to my offhand, Shovelphlange's Mining Axe - Item - World of Warcraft I do gain more top end damage, about 4, but it still has less beneficial stats than the mining axe. If anyone would like to crunch numbers and take the AP on both weapons into effect, please go ahead. I would love to know.

Slower weapon = higher chance to proc WF off of instants, if anything use the slower weapon MH because that where WF goes.
