You have to be trolling. Find me a good feral druid to 1v1 on the ptr. No possibility of losing to a feral druid as a rogue. Sure you have to bust your vanish early to avoid the faerie fire, and sure they cant really be bleed kited, but besides that, they're just too lacking of a "bag of tricks"



Even moreso, if you find a feral druid that can beat a good hunter even 1 in 100 times, I'll play zomg as feral for a month.(/wrist)
 
uhhh...how are you going to be avoiding the fairie fire? that doesn't even make any sense....you don't have cloak at 29; there is no way to "avoid" a fairie fire.



a druid can beat a rogue at 29 just by moonfiring him to death while staying at range and rooting. you don't even have to use feral skills to beat a rogue at 29, but if you really want to win faster then sure go ahead. i could beat a 29 rogue with an untalented and unglyphed 29 druid....



i'm not going to pay 15 dollars to reactivate my account with my 29 druid and beat you on the ptr by moonfiring you to death. go find a 29 druid who isn't straight up retarded and challenge him to a 1v1 or something.

You "avoid it" by using it before the initial cheap shot is worn off so you can regain stealth.



As for losing to a feral druid, I have a hard time seeing it, especially if I spec combat (which I'm spec'd right now) and I have the extra trinket out of the roots.



Sure, if you play it balance, then I guess you're right, its not the hardest thing in the world to do, but we were talking about feral dps, and I've never ever ever had a problem with anyone trying to shread spam me to death (lol)
 
if the rogue somehow opens on you, you just immediately trinket the cheap shot and feral fairie fire him. wtf else are you going to use your trinket for?



like i said, it's easy enough beating a 29 rogue as a druid if you're resto or balance (or even totally unspecced). but if the druid is actually feral, it's just a complete wash...you run around with 30% extra speed and the rogue will never touch you and die a slow moonfire death.



you could 100-0 a rogue relatively comfortably after you toss on a rejuv. probably one of the most one-sided 1v1 matchups in the 29 bracket, to be honest.

So you cheapshot and immediately vanish? I guess it all depends on how quick the druid is on the trinket faeriefire. If i know I'm going to be dueling a druid, I'd obv bust my vanish asap so I can actually get it off.



If you're going to kite and moonfire, I guess you could prob win, but if i can los, i'll bandage enough times to make it a very very long and interesting match.



The OP though, was asking about feral dps, like shred spamming, and putting bleeds on people, not kiting with oomfire. No druid who fights a rogue melee will win. Thats what I was trying to convey.
 
lol? Lloyd, do you realize the dmg to mana ratio of mf? Its AWFUL. And I mean as a resto druid I'll never lose to a rogue because abolish poison is so awesome. But as a feral you just don't have the mana and spell power to lolmoonfire ANYTHING to death. And thats wts's point.
 
I have a 29 alliance druid, not really what I was looking for. I am thinking of moving it up

after I seem some stability in damage I will hold there. I have an 80 druid also, but I will never be able to turn back the clock.

is the best belt you can get as a feral druid. paired with 15 hit to gloves it gets you hit capped.
