24 Ele Sham opinions and tips.

Hey all! Was wondering what you guys think about my shaman.. I think he's BiS for the most part (except for Hotshot's, but we all know those don't exist obviously lol) Any comments/advice is greatly appreciated!

you might want to look into hurricane if you want a haste enchant since black magic has an icd where hurricane does not

I think it's perfect . I would go with executioner (as i remember it does proc on spells) but it depends on the situation.

insert int trinket instead of pvp trinket and boa cloak with pvp power and ur good to go

You could try Jade spirit. It procs more often. You could go with Spellpower google extreme for the most spellpower, but you would gve up other stats. There are many viable cloak options. You may even consider 14 stamina for the chest. Or even dropping engineering if you don't use any of the items and pick up herbalism for the haste benefit.
There is no true BiS cookie cutter any more. There is what is best for YOU. Myself, I run with two, sets or more sets of gear for my resto shaman. A full spellpower set, scaled that toon has over 310 static SP. And a stamina set with a bit over 200 SP. Scaled and self buffed that toon has nearly 4,000 health. And when defensive CDs are popped can hit upwards of up to 7,000. I also have a rest.ricted Trial set as well.

the main thing you should change is black magic it's pretty insane when its up, but it got a 45 second ICD which makes both hurricane and windsong better than it in terms of uptime.

For elementals there are generally 2 weapon enchants that stands out, Windsong and Jade's spirit.

JS = High burst, lower all around damage
WS = Lower burst, higher all around damage.

I would also advice you to drop engineering in favor of Herbalism.

Ya, been fooling around with Hurricane and BM. I looked up both and, according to wowhead, BM has a 35% chance to proc and the ICD is 35 seconds, which isn't bad at all. Hurricane appears to have a 15% proc chance on no ICD.. so i've mainly been fooling around with the two of them and i'm not sure which I prefer. Guess it boils down to personal preference. Thanks for your input though, really appreciate other people's help/advice especially coming from a fellow shaman.

why not get the addon internal CD

and get both black magic and JS.

And switch em around every 45 seconds.....
