19 Pally questions

I have been trying to find info on ret pallys at 19. Doesnt seem like a whole lot of people choose pallies for ret, but I have a druid FC and a priest healer. Is a 19 ret pally a viable choice with a 2 hander? Or is it better to use a Shadowfang/Shield combo? If anyone has any info or can post a link to a ret guide, that would be great. Thanks!

Yeh, Retpal is hard to play at 19, but if you have a hybride stuff, it can be very usefull.
