k...i almost feel kinda stupid for making a 19 lock...they got nerfed pretty heavily...and so far it hasn't gotten better...all i can think of them doing in bgs is offense...fear spam healer..dot healer and efc...but they're too squishy and healthstone heal is crap....who thinks their situation will get better...and how?

They suffered a hard nerf with all their damaging attacks lowered by like 12%. It will likely go back up in a later patch.
Also, keep in mind that you can now use curse of weakness along with Bane of agony. The curse will help with those pesky melee users.
