12 hrs maintenance again lel.. 2hard backup with secondary servers. Clearly not nuff money.
thank god im not pain for this shit

Although it takes more time backing up and maintaining a 10 year old PC game engine than it would with something built modern day with an easily manageable system, they could do better. They recieve so much income, they literally have digital money trees. Server and tech maintinence can cost some, but the sheer number of monthly subscribers and micro transactions is like owning property on top of oil.

I give them credit for the work they're putting into WoD, but aside from that, having taken this long for even a date for the cinimatic is absurd. And how much money their fans are tucking down their bras should at least call for a lap dance. In this case, another large patch to entertain until wod hits. They can be lazy bastards. But I'm not complaining. I prefer low lvl twinking over endgame content most of the time.

Even if you did subscribe, you would get a refund of an entire $.25 . What a deal those subscribers are getting! They get all that extra content for a mere $.50 every 24 hours. At that rate you play almost an entire week for the cost of one energy drink and a candy bar.
Put it in perspective. Subscribing is cheap entertainment. Give 'em a break...

The best part of maintenance is reading the rage threads on the forums.

The only issue I can see with the large maintenance hours is that I won't be able to log in and AFK in Goldshire or Org while I watch Netflix.

But in all seriousness, Blizzard could step up their game a little bit, but why should they? People are obviously happy with what they have, or else they wouldn't be playing. The game is still addicting, and a black hole for souls and time. So yeah. Play the game, or find a new one, There's so many free Browser based games that are almost copies of WoW now that there's no point in complaining.

Lol, seems like your life revolves around wow if you're crying about maintenance lol.

Not gonna defend blizzard like scrubs like shizana that craives MPV on offical forums. But i'd imagine it might take a while for their maintenance considering all their data but hell what do I know I dont work with servers im a kindergarden teacher lol...

I don't understand why I was quoted in your post. Was that aimed at me, or...well, I just simply don't understand.

180$ a year
20-40$ expansions
40-60$ pre-orders
60$ 90 boosts
25$ server transfers
20$ faction changes
15$ name changes
25-30$ mounts
15$ pets
15$ cosmetic pieces
20$ charge for upgrading
hundreds of 200$ Blizzcon tickets
Oh and all of those other online games they make revenue off of

Need I say more? Yes it costs some money to market and design, but they're fucking us as we speak. Most of these services do not cost them a penney after they are designed or programmed. Say what you want, but wow is still one of the most expensive videogames in history.

My my my such hatred and language.
I am not going to go through your laundry list of why you choose not pay for those options in WoW. Because that is exactly what they are, optional items. I will address one however. You can sub to the game and get it much much cheaper than the said $.25 / 12 hours that mentioned earlier. Just think cheaper than a whole quarter! WOW!!!
Don't you think companies are in the business to make money?
/cheers
