Hello again,

What is better for FC paladin? According to the classic stats addon:

Defender Shield of Blocking
-5.88% Block Chance
-12.45 Block Value
E(block) = 0.73

Arctic Buckler
-4.88% Block Chance
-17.25 Block Value
E(block) = 0.8418

It seems the Arctic Buckler is the clear winner, but I have had FC paladins swear that Defender Shield of Blocking is BIS. Thoughts? Am I missing something?

AB gives 3 stam some spirit and 5 frost resist. That lone is enough to make it better outside of block value. blocking gives str and 1%.

Even redbeards crest is better than blocking

Good I will stop looking for that dang Grunt's Shield of Blocking!!

blocking shields really only good in 1v1s against melee with a spike. TBH its only good against rougers imo since warriors are usually a slower fight with most of their dmg comin from procs.
