Sub out Storm Bolt for Intimidating Roat, Piercing Howl, Berserker Rage, or Intervene. Basically, be super disrupting (12 sec cooldown interrupt, Rallying Cry, Spell Reflect) with a good amount of self-healing. You are unfortunately forced into raging blow, and your executes will likely be...

I mean welcome to death knights, 90% of the class tree is grabbing frost utility, and 90% of the spec tree is getting baseline abilities.

I was actually gonna try the full Grand Crusader build to huck out as many high damage Judgements as possible

Class tree seems fantastic for mage. Shatter being neutral seems... interesting? (see Pyroblast/Hot Streak? interesting) Arcane seems really good :( Frost seems fine, access to full rotation seems nice. no combustion means Fire is mediocre as usual.

Why not just skip out on lava lash? 18 sec cooldown, unmodifiable, worse damage than Stormstrike unless you go full Lava Lash build (in which case you lose out on gap close, windfury weapon, and any/all maelstrom modifiers)
