I dps as moonkin, and I did like 4-5k iirc, mainly because of cds. I do like 3k in raids.

They're capable of tanking anything, assuming you're competent. Coldspike on Laughing Skull manages 4k in raids. They're good in arena assuming you're good, bad if you're bad. DK/healer is okay, DK/MS class is decent for burst, but I'm far from the best source for 70 arena. edit...
