I think rets probably the best 1v1 spec in the bracket right now. Best healing output of any class, including healers and one of the only two classes to have an on demand stun (windwalker and ret).

Windwalkers can solo basically any class. The other class I have issues with 1v1 is ret paladins. Everything else has a very hard time killing me and if I can get them below 50% and THEN use fists of fury its either trinket or die. Fist of Fury seems to be doing just absolutely insane damage...

Honestly though if you don't have intelligent (read: breathing, living players) healers or the other team has a lot unintelligent (might as well not be breathing, probably drooling on the keyboard) hunters then your WW would be better off AFKing.

Most of monks damage comes from autoattacks. Just saying that to you guys talking about the low damage. WW monks do damage comparable to every class except hunters.
