The proc adds about 2.7 dps, but that's without instants. Also in nature damage which is almost always better than physical

There has been a LOT of discussion about ranged weapons on discord. We came to the conclusion that venomstrike is almost always better, unless you're multishotting on cloth every cd. Weapon skill adds 0.04 hit and crit per level, so 0.2 for dwarves in total.

But wouldn't that interfere with avoiding the proc? I think you need some time in between so you're certain it doesn't proc. Needs to be tested I think

If you compare it to the paladin SoR bug, it might actually work. (for example, and I've tested it myself, you can swing with shadowfang at 2.7 speed and proc glacial stone)

You can swap to a different weapon, sit that gcd out, scatter, and swap back. Or you can try to scatter, unequip weapon, sit that gcd out, and equip any weapon back Both equipping and unequipping inflicts a gcd, but you can still unequip right after a scatter

That might actually work, but you'll waste a gcd swapping back and forth. If it does work, it's similar to the SoR bug
