You're making an incorrect comparison. You didn't drag the slider to the correct level: you drag it to 10, not 1, and get i29 for the blues. Beyond that, however, the gun is in fact very good. It's a sidegrade but it has a bit more secondary stats than anything else by pure volume.

The wording of the guide doesn't imply otherwise, so I'm not changing the guide itself, but "Recently Bandaged" appears to be completely removed from the game. You should be able to spam bandages and shadowberries for some serious combat uptime.

The screenshots in that part of the guide are only there to show differences in damage for the same abilities between non spec and specced level ones. They're not there to show the new abilities; those are just shown via the links and descriptions that are already there on the class section.

Just tested this, can confirm. I also tried a couple of bypasses, they didn't work either. Hopefully something new will pop up on the API, as this was the simplest method.
