I actually have one idea, but I'm too lazy to check if it works. During the fangs of the devourer quest you are able to pickpocket the guard (or something like that, I don't remember his name). So if I get the lamp before doing this quest, I should be able to snatch coins of air from him, then...

Spent 1000 gold today on that lamp and it turned out that I need pick pocketing skill to make use of it, which requires level 24. Is there a way to get around this restriction?
