Keep in mind that dmg likely stays the same. Utility spells are cool and all but when your burst does 1000 dmg total, it's hard to do anything in bg.

I mean in terms of BG ret is nowhere close. Their dmg is rather low compared to arcane, destro, hunter, warr, etc. Hunter is improved from what we have now. MM retains same spells but gets posthaste, kill shot and dispel for shields or hots. BM gets 30% dmg on pet which is huge tbh. Survival...

Ass rogue gets energy regen, outlaw as well, shuriken storm seems to be baseline now, shiv available first row too.

Try this for crit set: circle, hallowed shoulders, mana etched chest + gloves, mindfire/boe belt, atal wand+oh. Off pieces can be anything that has haste/crit/vers. You can play around with stats to see what works best for you. I don't play arcane mage much because it's doghsit playstyle but...

Versatility increases shield and gives dmg reduction. You can go feverflare, I don't have full fever set so I haven't tested it fully but it could work. Keep in mind that you can't stack too much as most tbc items already have versatility. Here's a sheet I used: https://easyupload.io/ryp84i

Too much haste didn't work out well for me as you run out of mana too fast. Around 20% out of bg feels nice. Let's you stack charges reliably with blast and faster sheeps + lower gcd for survivability. Vers is overall best stat for obvious reasons. Crit works well with blast although it's not...

Big int with vers and some haste is the way to go for arcane. Crit/haste/vers is also good but you have to use blasts more for maximum efficiency from crit.

SP gain purge, pi, speed and loses shadowfiend. Can spec into either more dmg procs or dispersion so dispersion is pretty much lost at this point. It's more of a change rather than a nerf but burst dmg will suffer.

It likely scales off SP and since paladins get SP based on AP, they get the healing.
