I would argue against it taking a couple of months, I don't know anything from certain as well but its 3 weeks from now till Cape corruption reaches its cap in endgame, which means prepatch will be in ~1month, prob +(10-20days).

imo just wait for SL, u can make the vet now ofc too but I'd suggest u wait and see what enchants are the best, the best gear, and all of that.

Islands ? And I'm sorry but you think 1k for ~10-15min is where it's at ? I don't think I'd do that, you could farm 2 lfr raids at that time and still make more than 1k, and I'd argue around ~4k. As you can make 20kraw gold for 1hr baseline on a single char.
