OP is essentially complaining about balance, 20s has probably the worst balance out of all the brackets, therefore it is a sensible solution to move to a different, more balanced, bracket.

Move to a real bracket, problem solved.

What ilvl did you get? I believe the boar elite on drustvar dropped an azerite piece once... can't remember for sure tho.

I have twinks on the 60s, 80s and 111-119 brackets, 80s is by far the most fun for me because it has better balance than the rest (better than 120 too). The changes to scaling made it so the gap between expansions is virtually negligible (I can kill 100s on my 85 depending on the class) so its possible to use gear from earlier expansions with great success. The 80s bracket benefits from this a lot as you can use gear from TBC, Wrath and Cata...
