Opinions on my Holy Paladin.

Basement

Ey b0ss
Hey all, just wanted some opinions on my Paladin's build. Considering there's many ways to build healers, I came up with my own set.
Shockblocked @ Rexxar - Community - World of Warcraft
Currently, i'm running a good mix of crit (27.06%) spirit (92) SP (242) and Stamina (2,568). Personally, i've been having really good results with this set-up. 92 spirit may seem un-necessary in PuGs, but this was the toon I did some pre-mades with a while back and the spirit was necessary. However, there are rare times when I need to constantly spam flash (against 24 pre-mades in pugs) and it's been very helpful seeing as I never OOM. Anywho, looking for some opinions/thoughts on his set-up. Thanks! :D

Its really nice pala. Only one thing i would change is Enchant Shield - Vitality - Item - World of Warcraft

It is Vitality, hover over it and it says +10 spirit +10 stamina.. Guess armory must be glitched or something of the sort. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Cloth helm/legs, hurricane on wep, no spirit on shield, Herbalism instead of mining. Horde intellect neck.

7/10

The spirit/armor make up for the haste imo. Considering WoG and HS don't benefit from haste, I prefer spirit.. Sure you could argue the haste making Flash faster which is our most important heal, but like I said, running a crit/SP/spirit build, so as long as Flash crits and I don't OOM, it's better than casting it faster if I have a higher chance of doubling it and don't ever have to worry about running out of mana to do so. Tried Hurricane, didn't like it. The proc chance is pretty low, plus I prefer having static stats, and I like 22 int because I get some crit out of it as well, working on herbing at the moment, and the Horde neck is meh, 2 stam or 2 spirit.. i'll take the spirit. Thanks for your comments though, really appreciate feedback! :)

Get more crit, and as Junoo said cloth looms really good for haste, in premades and also sometimes in pugs you have to rely on fast heals, and you really rarely go oom. So cloth looms, hurricane on wep, eagle ring/bracers, horde neck

the theory is, more haste/crit gives faster/bigger heals = heals more in a faster time. to combat the "oom" issue you seem to be having (dont see how with 2k mana or w/e it is at 24), i present to you Restorative Amber - Item - World of Warcraft full mana in 1 second out of combat.

plus WoG healing is very rarely used due to the fact is heals like a wet noodle and in to doing so you lose movement speed increase.

side note, HS has a 25% passive crit chance + what ever added crit your stacking makes crit stacking even more viable.

Good luck, King Junoo out.

Few months back, I did some pre-mades on that toon and the Spirit was necessary, since people in pre-mades play a lot smarter than PuGs the fights tend to last a pretty decent amount of time, I just haven't changed my gear around, seeing as though the gear i'm currently using is decent. I do plan on getting more crit pieces, like Hero gloves and such, and most likely going for 9 int bracers, and 9 int ring perhaps. Although, the spirit can come in handy when you're in one of those rare pugs when both teams are evenly matched, but that sadly is hardly ever the case. Anywho, my plans for this toon in terms of other pieces are hero gloves, 9 int bracers, DPR/9 int ring, and some enchant changes. Thanks again for the feedback! :)

Dont get me wrong everyone is entitled to their own playstyle, but i am disagreeing with your spirit gear build, with such a bursty bracket, burst healing is definitely needed. no point having tons of mana left over if your team mates are dead.

Just my opinion of course, Enjoy your paladin bud.

I completely agree/understand. I'm probably not building correctly for PuGs, since in PuGs things do tend to die in the blink of an eye. Hell, maybe I was told the wrong stat to stack in pre-mades, I asked the team I played with what they wanted/preferred, and they wanted me to have a good amount of spirit to constantly stay in the action and not have to use the relief hut. I'd rather be the healer that changes/adapts to what the team needs.. To be honest, i'm just pretty lazy/have been focusing on my Boomy/Shaman. Definitely going to be getting more crit pieces and try out what you're advising. I like to try out different things. :p I actually do really appreciate someone taking the time to comment/give some advice as well, so thanks again man. :)

IMO, I like double Yorgen boons for crit but that's me. I'm crazy like that. :p

Glorious us tyranny with pvp power enchant on cloak. Hotshots , be raptor crit belt,
