29s, our time nears! After months of strife, players from the many reaches of this bracket are making the call for games. Threads began by Megumi, Dont, and others see repeated yearnings to get back on the field. For 29s to regain our bracket, we will need to move forward with new expectations. Are you ready to take on the challenge of 29s in this era? To persevere and succeed in the face of class disparity? To leverage team communication, in vent and on the field, to make the most of the game you find yourself in?

To join this challenge, reply to this thread or the one linked above, and say which of your 29s are ready, including the faction of your 29(s). I propose that when we reach 15 players per faction, we're ready to start the bracket again.



Not everyone can post on the WoW forums, so if you post here, I'll add your name to list over there.

If everything goes as planned I should get my account back sometime today and will be ready for 29's whenever you guys are!
 
Not to sound like an attack here or anything.. but, even back when 29's were active an appearance by Nirise was incredibly rare, yet you showed up for many 49 nights



so the question is will YOU be there?



btw I'm perma banned on the wow forums so I wont be able to post there



just noticed the stats on my horde hunters AB boots are stam/int now o_O



did the change the stats on those in 4.3? or am I seeing an armory bug? stats on my alliance hunter's boots are still stam/agi...

That's a fair question, and I will indeed be there. The complaining and general disrespect caused me to leave early on in the year, and I'm happy to see that even while disagreement remains, players are being more constructive. I also think that the cause of some of our unrest won't be so strong this time around. We want games, and we want good games. After months of strife, 29s seem to be in a better place to accept that the bracket must work differently moving forward. Hunters are here, PuGmades are here, but players are doing a better job communicating now.



You're right to call me out on my attendance, and I'm ready to commit to help 29s return. I love helping to organize and rally players, and my instincts tell me (based on what I see here and on the WoW boards) that 29s finally surpassed what they needed to get going again.



My greater concern is that SWTOR launches in a week or so, which could seriously dampen this effort. But if so, it'll merely delay 29s, not keep them down.

No problem -- that's why I wanted to make this thread here, to gather everyone who's interested but permabanned, to get their names on the roster as well.

I have to level a pally 78-85 in a level 20 guild since I took my Boas off of DH. Once I do that ill be set depending on the night.
 
Can't wait to revive this bracket! Ill be making a horde 29 in DH just so i have toons on both factions!

i can get on for a few days a week duno if ill be able to q for more than a few hours at a time tho.i posted in the WoW forums aswell.
 
We're official -- we reached 30 twinkers signed up this evening (Sunday). Great show, 29s -- on to the games!



Tuesday, December 13, 9pm EST/6pm PST -- be there when 29s return to Warsong Gulch!
 
I have will be tied up until 9:30-10 tomorrow night, but will be there eventually.
