Leaving WoW

I wish you well. Don't know you, but I do know the choice to improve your life takes courage, and that's worth applause.

My initial path to this forum was a search for knowledge, but now, with retail being almost not played, the reason to still come back here is because of the community. The game has indeed changed, and some of the players with it. Gameplay creates habits, habits create perception, and perception determines what we value and prioritize, in this case, accumulation over connections. You seem to already have the most important answer: you have to know what is best for you as a person, what you really want inside the game and out, and then pursue that, sometimes leaving old habits behind when they get in the way. Make your life what fits you as best you can, fill that cup with joy.

Best of luck, Shiny!

Many of us have taken “long breaks” and come back to the game in various forms but as always - take care of yourself first!

I remember that 7 year old... I love ya kid. You know where to find me. Lok'tar Ogar! Nothing but best Shiny!

Shinyhero, youll always be a legend in the twink community in my eyes <3 thanks for showing me and others some cool things and being a good challenge and bar raiser for us twinks! Your connection with God and Jesus will be the best achievement in my eyes though. Much love for you brother, gonna forever be missing you around.

I’m happy for you man. Over the years you’ve helped me a lot in a few different brackets, and i’ll always appreciate you for that. Had a lot of great battles with and against you. Thanks for everything and all the time and energy you put into this shit. GL with everything going on in your life and hopefully one day, you and I, can make a return and run it back.
/cheers
