Dracthyr problem

I have several characters in the Legacy 30 guild on Thrall, where we do old dungeons and raids to gear and for kicks. Since guardian is not the best in all fights, I decided to level up a few other classes, who I can carry on my 2nd account in old raids and dungeons for gear.

One of these is Dracthyr, which I rolled one of late in DF to see if I could customize one to my liking. After doing this, I really had no interest in playing the character, and never logged in. I had even less motivation to log in and learn to play any of that race's classes after the starting level was reduced to 10.

Fast forward to yesterday, when I decided it was time to get that character to 30 so we could run ICC. I didn't even look at the gear, just started smashing stuff in the face. Then they gave me a piece of gear, level 24. I'm like, whatever. Let's see what's in that slot now.

All the gear except for 3 empty slots (weapon, shoulders, and belt) is ilvl 206.

After getting out of the starting zone at level 16, I had her solo some dungeons to fill those empty slots with ilvl 59 blue gear.

I don't want to get banned. Clearly this is an edge case that was not intended. I may be the only one this happened to. What should I do?

Yeah basically any Evoker that was rolled way back when and wasn't played ended up with grandfathered gear. I don't know of anyone who's been banned because of it, course there's so few of those kinds of Evokers to start wtih. At some point the gear will either be scaled down or given a level requirement. If you're doing mostly solo things, or playing with friends, then you should be able to enjoy the overpoweredness for as long as it lasts without worry.

Your evoker is extremely rare and powerful. If you want to play 30, make another evoker but lock that evoker's xp.

Sell the account lol

This is my oldest account with lots of rare mounts and titles on it. I wouldn't want to lose it. I immediately locked the character's xp on getting out of the starting zone.

I have spam reported almost every 206 evoker I’ve seen for months, it’s safe to say blizz doesn’t give af about them
