The maw - advise needed

Hi everyone,

Could someone provide information if there is a way to farm rep with ve‘nari in the (real) maw easily?
Does the fear effect, and disability to mount up will disappear when the reputation increase?

I did not spend much time in the maw, but the time I spent was very frustrating.

I wanted to farm https://www.wowhead.com/item=184167/mawsworn-soulhunter with the help of a high lvl but died several times….

So for the rep you just have to be grouped with a high level that does the event in Maw, I think the event are called Hunts.

Just make sure the UI for the event is spawned in, else you might not get rep, should appear with a simple relog while in the fear zone.

The fear effect does not go away unless you do some quests that we cant do.

For the mount, one of those events spawns a boss that drop the mount, he spawns in some cave so I recommend moving your char down there and just chilling while a friend does the entire event.

You can track when the correct event is on the wowhead home page, I think it swaps a few times per week.

With new history mode (Cho) The Maw + Korthia available on level 20 without fear and other effects (But anyway need wait when 11.1.7 will be released, because info from PTR)

Good to know, I was not aware of the upcoming changes in 11.1.7 really looking forward for this patch

Maybe someone can do a new thread with some findings from the ptr. I play on a Mac and ptr seems to be not working properly on Mac at all… this would be very nice

i was watching a video on this looking at what his selection options and not seeing a maw/korthia selection

on high level alts that go thru the SL skips, there are several starting with the campaign skip, a skip to zeren mortis. to get the maw/korthia unlock skip you have to pick a cov and do a quest to there, brief intro quests, skip option on orientation, conduit set up, then sent back to Oribos. there is one part where turn in a quest to bolivar forddragon then he pops up a quest DISENGAGE from him walk away and then interact with him, there is a skip that was not there before and another skip after that. this enables you to go to korthia directly and start questing without having to do that unlock campaign intro.

just like BFA it would be imo a blizz roll of the dice where we got mechagon and no nazjatar. for SL they would have to remove all the level restrictions for all the above or do a mechagon type questline skip but that would likely end up a zeren mortis being a low level playground if they gave us Korthia there would be no guarantee we got the maw also. access to maw exits could be blocked. sorta like when you do the campaign and get resent into the maw, i was able to get into the beast warrens part of maw using gliders but two entrances to korthia were blocked.
