Best race for a holy/disc priest (lvl 20 vet).

I got back to WoW recently and found out that I have a pretty highly geared Night Elf priest which I'd forgotten about since I haven't played since 2023. I was wondering if there is any advantage to this combination other than Shadowmeld, if not, should I race-swap to another race? I really like Draeneis, but IDK. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
 
I would play a bit before making a determination as to whether it’s worth it to pay for a race change

Smeld is a solid defensive option in this 1 shot meta (of which congrats you are unknowingly part of the biggest offenders lol)

Have fun chastising people and melding mid rapid fire

Haha, I don't understand what you mean by that! Is Shadowmeld considered cheesy/OP in PvP/PvE? I've only ever found myself using it to bypass the first several mobs before the first boss in Shadowmoon Burial Grounds.

Shadowmeld is op for sure

You can use it to escape rapid fire or other long cast nukes in PvP, and you can use it to drop combat and reset mobs in PvE

Imo shadowmeld is the way to go. Especially if you are still trying to gear up and want to dip your feet back in pvp

People haven’t told you yet… holy priest can literally one shot people with instant cast chastise (stuns for 4 secs) into an instant cast holy fire. The spec is really broken right now!

It’s probably the most broken spec, with mm hunter and arms warr close second.
