20s f2p twinks are mass afk reporting lvl 29s in the bracket

A proof pay to wins can't withstand 20 inch bars.

Approve of this content. 29s can get fucked. We need US 20s to follow suit

I wish we could have an add on to help coordinate the mass reporting of 29s

US has a bunch of wargames with GT which is quite objectively a much healthier option to avoid 29s.

Tbh as long as the game allows 20s vs 29s we can't really blame people for playing those even though it is quite an unfair advantage balance-wise.

Now let's say we successfully get rid of 29s, what happens next ? Will vets get an unfair advantage due to some items unavailable to trials like SL healing gems or 2 extra gems on rings ? Vets always had an advantage over trials and it can be a bit too much as well.

Even if we were in an ideal bracket where everyone had the same exact tools, we still won't have an healthy PvP landscape because of the scaling.
Even with 20s vs 20s the sheer damage of most classes now will make for quite the unplayable meta.

When we were laqt separated from 29s in SL, classes like MM, Destro, Arcane or Ele were already a hot topic because of their burst potential.

Now did we get defensive tools with DF and TWW ? Yes. Will it matter when every class rn would have been considered probelmatic back then ? Prolly not.
Heck even the previously healing-restricted classes are now offensive powerhouses (I mean look at Resto Shaman / Holy Priest -idk how well Resto Druid does rn but I assume it can't be that bad either).

Really PvP is quite the experience nowadays. Loooooooooong queues for a miserable BG without the guarantee you'll have a full team, bonkers scaling and an uneven distribution of 29s. Unless the situation drastically improved in the last month or two -which I strongly doubt- I don't see this trend going anywhere else at least not by our efforts.

Idk what's the best solution, wargames may be the best we have rn but fellas please don't get yourselves banned for a measly report that likely won't achieve anything even if they were to succeed.

A. wow that video sucks
B. yeah no shit, 29s don't exactly belong there

playing a 29 is a crazy self report of being talentless
I looked on the YouTube channel he posted on - he literally pops saltwater potion and spams shadowburn and that’s it.
Wouldn’t expect anything less from a brain dead lvl29.

Kinda untrue

The gap between pure f2p and vets is really low currently

The SL gems heal per 10 seconds. 10 seconds is an eternity in this bracket given the burst. Almost all classes and specs have the ability to nuke someone in this time (maybe not rogues).

Additionally. Knowing that 29s are gone would bring an overwhelming resurgence of 20s who are purposefully not playing due to the imbalance

We would have more consistent and more fair games. The usual problems would remain however, in terms of people playing fotm specs and queuing as premade for easy wins. 29s are doing this now, much rather it be done on 20s if it has to be done

As of right now sure, tbh you're right, lasting 10 seconds is quite the feat haha.

I meant it more as an "historical fact" that vets always have some advantage, meaningful or not. Maybe for now it's no big deal (really what's +8 Agi/Int gonna change) but and to be fair since SL the gap was really lessened with very few useful items being locked behind a sub (like ele force used to for example), but who knows, maybe it'll be an issue in the future (tankier metas where SL gems matters more and stat differences can be felt more, new / future items discovered, ...).
Doubtful but I still felt like a mention to vet vs f2p was worth it ^^

But yeah either way, on the topic of no 29s I'd have to agree with you that no 29s would be better and "The usual problems would remain however, in terms of people playing fotm specs and queuing as premade for easy wins." is perhaps the most fundamental truth about twinking so we fall back on what I said, no 29s is nice, but no solution (at least for now) so I'd rather not see folks take a potential risk (ban) for no reward ^^

a

Atleast vet players are playing by the 'rules'. The 29's know what they are doing which is to not give the f2p's a chance.. and guess what happens, they quit and the bracket dies.

No one wins when 29's play.
it was dead before in dragon flight because they didnt scale anything so lvl 20 f2p/vets had 1700-1800 hp and 29 twinks had 3700-4000 hp and bracket just died as no f2p/vets qued up.

The gap between pure f2p and vets is really low currentlyThe majority of f2p players who actually que bgs are not spending the months required to farm proffs to get gems for socket gear though
How many of the f2p's that actualy que bgs are spending the required time to farm out proffs to gem socket gear and such though?

So re 29's, this isn't like when 29's xpoff que bug into xpon games this is the 20-29 bracket afterall
I can't believe I have to defend 29s lol

Personally I would like to see pure f2ps get their own bracket so they can live in peace and harmony.

Correctly I understand? Many years 20-twinks very liked to be overpowered and play in premades only for reskill pugs on a graveyards, but they don't like when 29-twinks farm them, really? Very interested. What happened?

That’s a good question. I don’t know. I don’t think I see any “true trials” that have no idea wtf they are doing in BGs

If I see pure f2p they are knowledgeable and have grinded out the profs and gear for bis or near bis

I think the days of totally clueless trial players are done. These players might exist. But they aren’t making it to BGs imo

what's changed is that these garbo twinks can't quite open their mouths in chat unless they wanna get whacked by the banhammer (y'know, since blizzard's become more n more "woke" over the years). instead, best way for them to vent is through their silent, organized votekicks. you'll actually notice not a single person communicates in bgs anymore, let alone flames, and all they do is basically spam a marker on whoever the fuck they want to votekick… spend more time votekicking than they actually play the game.

I know I hated them at the time, but legion gear templates might of been a good thing.

the gear isn’t so bad of an issue. It’s the insane stat scaling differences that 9 post squish levels gives you

Imagine a pre squish lv 39 vs a lv 79 and that approximates the gap currently experienced by 20s

Combine that with 9 additional talent points, with new rows of unlocks, access to new spells and abilities not usable by 20, armor specialization for 5% main stat bonus, access to powerful quest and dungeon rewards that 20s don’t have

29s can literally drop into a BG brain dead and still come out on top. There’s really no defending it. everyone here knows why they rolled a 29.

trust me i know how retarded 29s are and the people who play them, i'm just saying the fairest this bracket has been was legion
