WoD dungeons are garbage.

At least when I got my TBC gear the dungeons were fun. These WoD dungeons are just tedious and boring and they drop garbage gear and when you do get something better it's only like a +1 better than your TBC gear.

Well, look man... at least now we can mix & match gear from TBC & WoD for our prospective BiS.
Honestly, I love WoD dungeons, but just doing the same 3 over & over & over is total AIDS, so I feel your pain
But... like ya man said :
This is twinking.
I sure miss the SL days, when we could World Farm for half our gear.

I see it as an investment. My character is just over a day old of /played and is sitting at an 80ilvl. I've done around 200ish runs of WoD dungeons and every piece of WF gear I get is essentially (unless something changes) one less slot to worry about FOREVER.
It's far more chill (and oddly relaxing?) to me to do this than worry about some Mazed+ dungeon grind which only drops 2 pieces of gear per group and it's not even a guarantee the group will even finish the dungeon.

This!
With the exception of Socketed stuff, I've had the same gear on my most played, since Dragonflight pre-patch-launched. Wich was October 25. 2022 :PepeComfy:

The only times I've 'HAD to' re-gear in between is when they changed Mastery values for Boomkins a while back.
And the only gear I added to my build when they changed SL-gems and enchants, was stuff I already collected 4 years ago.

Then again, I probably didn't HAVE to. But I enjoy spending my time with shit like this :PeepoGlad: And the investment is always worth it, down the line.

I've noticed the difference in armor on the WF pieces for Guardian Druid are quite substantial, but that obviously doesn't apply to all classes.

I liked it when I could :
- go buy ilvl 28 in Pandaria,
- grab some Pandaria treasures along the way,
- kill some Pandaria rares that dropped ilvl 26 weapons (could not equip the ilvl 28 weapons for some reason)
- sell the treasures (100 gold each),
- grab northrend enchanting,
- buy epics in Wotlk Dalaran,
- disenchant said epics,
- level Wrath enchanting,
- enchant my ilvl 28,
- done

It wasn't BIS (far from it) but it was decent enough and required very little time invested

Oh well tbh getting an ilvl 61 set of gear is quite easy nowadays and it's better than the old ilvl 28 (now equivalent to 54 I believe)

Pretty much all of the dungeons since classic have been boring cookie cutter trash. Mostly flat, linear with 4-5 bosses, designed to be run in 20 minutes, just with different background art. Compare that to the complexity of dungeons like blackrock depths, blackrock spire, or even shadowfang keep.

From my perspective, whether you enjoy farming WoD dungeons depends on two things: whether you like grinding in the first place, and whether you have fond memories of WoD or something else to listen/watch whilst you run said dungeons.
