Pick the lowest pop server to get fish gear and AGM then just transfer to whatever server you want

Alliance side has some premades but alliance are a minority on the server so it's crappy if you want to do anything on your main. There's like one ''Good'' guild on horde side, but half the people ive inspected from it have non bis gear and when I did try to join it was like trying to get a loan with 500 credit score so I got annoyed and said to hell with it lmao, like ima litterally just keep my twink in a leveling guild rofl.
