19 holy paladin?

It is such a relief getting Blessings of Freedom in BG's. I've sometimes been pocket healed by some paladin levelers. BUT I've never seen a holy paladin twink in this bracket, how come?

Is it because there isn't decent mail items available with intellect? or is it because the lack of healing abilities? Easy to get interrupted? or am I just blind? Discuss!

The heals suck ass and they take forever

I was playing a holy pally at 19 before I stopped playing.

They are very good fun, you will not match a priest for burst healing but you have better utility and you can swap to the glacial stone to put out some really good DPS. So in a 2v2 with you and a DPS vs Priest and DPS you can nuke the priest pretty effectively I found.

With a glacial stone + fiery weapon to swap to for damage and a redbeard with spike on for melees. The spike is REALLY good with the prot talents. You could also have a +7 healing mace with +55 healing on for "big" heals but your heals will never be large as a paladin, you are better off with lots of mana and just spamming away.

But you do kinda rely on having a decent DPSer to peel for you so can be frustrating in pugs when you got facerolling DPSers who don't protect the healers.
