XpOff Classic (19)

Will start my classic journey (again) on the server Westfall, as a priest twink (19).

Please, any tips or suggestions?

alliance is the dominant faction, stop being a bitch and go horde

Alliance seems to be getting faster queues (just like at 60), but generally the 19 queue is not too bad from my experience (on EU though). We are usually looking at 10-15 minutes off-peak or during raiding times and as low as 3-5 minutes when the games are rolling.

westfall alliance is way oversaturated with twinks both in number and skill level. horde is more scattered and definitely has good players on some servers/teams but needs more consistent numbers overall to sustain high quality games.

over time, it is likely that people will roll characters on multiple factions to better balance the bracket. but right now, alliance is way too stacked IMO.

if you don't care about how healthy the bracket is, which is totally understandable if you're just playing casually, obviously do whatever you want.

It's got a handful of good players and then a lot of gassed up players that are terrible but just above average.
My advice is if you're desperate to play there go on a low pop server buy your BOEs for cheaper, get AGM possibly and then transfer over, but you're better off just finding real ID friends to reroll with u on some server and playing with them. The vast majority of Westfall players are overrated but just look good because the rest of the classic scene is a disaster.

what's funny is I can't even really disagree with this, but it remains true that horde is in need of peeps.

I personally have advocated for splitting 10 man groups into 5 mans, it's way easier and results in more engaging games since both teams have a more realistic chance to lose. I myself have more fun in smaller games where I don't get carried by my team, unless it's a real 10v10 which is rare.

so I think if you do choose Horde, you're more likely to play in this environment since not many horde guilds can consistently form 10. but if you join alliance, I think this format would probably be more fun if you can find some homies to queue with.

ppl who play twinks are bad players with a big mouth who'd rather dodge a 10 man than form one even then they have the players online

I plan to make a horde 19, just made alli first since that’s where my main and all my gold are, making it much easier

Simple math tells you that since horde is more populated you are much more likely to get people leveling up / non twinks which can lead to some unfortunate games - however I have had some incredible back and forth pug games, as well as reverse cap sweeps when down by 2 etc etc
Horde need more healers, welcome aboard.
