EU+US Weps for 111 twinking

I know the scythe and artifact weapons are good when they reach their high ilevel(scythe already being a high ilevel) but how good would the garrosh heirlooms be from mists of Pandaria? The weapons that are 218 ilevel with 2 sockets and can get enchanted also? Say for a dual wielding class like a dk or rogue? How effective would they be since you can add a 120 main stat gem and something else to it

if you are talking about a speed twink, then sockets > all, so yes you should use them. For WPvP, you'd have to test it out really - is the gain of 2 (or 4) sockets better than losing almost 50ilvls on your main weapon. Stamina imo is not something you should worry about - an extra 2-3k hp won't make a big difference. If the extra secondary stats offset the loss in mainstat + lower base secondaries, then yes.

For example, on my resto druid twink, 1 versatility is about equal to 0.9 intellect when it comes to increasing damage - so if I had the heirloom I'd probably use it. Not sure if other classes use versa as best stat though, so I can't speak for them.

If I had to guess, in general I would say a dual-wield class that gains 4 sockets should probably use them, while a non-DW class shouldn't.

You should be adding a 120 and 80 main stat gems to your gear anyways if you're WPvPing, so it's not a factor here.

I plan on mainly doing pve stuff related not excatly speedrunning but solo stuff and maybe some wpvp as well. A class like my dk really benifits for frost from it since its 4 gem slots

Just as a guide for you, 4 sockets are 200 stats. On my resto druid, I have 29.5% +dmg from versatility with food buff. There's a Vol'dun zone buff that gives you 201 versatility, and this brings me to 47.5% +dmg from versatility.

I don't know if versa scales differently for other classes, but to me this sounds as a large enough increase in dmg done to offset the lower ilvl of your weapons, and of course if other secondary stats are better for you then that holds even more true.

In the end, it doesn't matter much. Use the heirlooms to begin with, run M Antorus until you get your artifact to high ilvl and then compare the 2.
