EU+US Moonfang Den Mother lootable again!

I'm not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but damn if I'm not excited that Moonfang can be looted by F2Ps again. That means Moon Moon, Moonfang's Paw, Moonfang Shroud, and most importantly

SHIMMERING MOONSTONE

are back, baby!

Should i be in a team that kills it? I did some dmg on him while he was killed by some 120's.Couldnt loot it.

That's odd. I wasn't in a group or raid at all, and I got it twice in a row.

Every DMF i get to every fight i can find. Just need to do a couple of hits and i can loot it when it dies. Even when I die during the fight, i can come back and loot the corpse.

Many bosses share a common mechanic concerning looting : once the boss dropped below a certain health percentage, if you start to hit the boss after that, you won't get the loot of the boss (that's to decrease people afking or just comming at the end of the fight to get some loot when they have absolutely done nothing to kill the boss).

Maybe this wolf has this mechanic ... maybe not ... but for now, I got some loot 100% of the times i got involved in its fight.
