SFK gear scaling

if i dualbox and run SFK on my main with my rogue on follow would i be able to get scaled gloomshroud armor and shadowfang ? if there is any scaling at all in dungeons

yes. the drops from the mobs you get will scale....however should you find them in a locked chest or just a regular chest those items in the chests will not be scaled but be whatever the original item was waaay back in the day...so if it was a lvl 16 req item instead of being scaled to level 19(or w/e level version you are trying to get like a 29 for ex) so if you want the scaled version it will have to be a mob drop on the toon getting the carry

Realize that it's 50/50 that it will scale to your main and not your 29. Depends on who the game decides got the drop.

I might even go as far as to not loot anything with the main just to avoid seeing a max-scaled drop for your main. It sucks. Running my 59 through dungeons, the high level runner always gets the item im after first. Always.

Great question OP. I have found myself with this issue in regard to Shadowfang in the next patch. I will need to acquire 2 news ones so that they are ilvl 25.

This was already stated- but you have a 50/50 chance of the items scaling to your twink or your main. You need to find out if you can do two SFK runs in the same time that your twink (and a group of 4 other twinks) can run SFK. With all of the RP, I do not think this is the case.

Few tips for farming SFK- guardian druids do an absurd amount of AOE damage. Queue with 2-3 twinks with frag belt- you can pull the whole instance in a few pulls. Arcane mages also do crazy AOE.
